Kirsten

Written by Jon:
Kirsten is a truly one of a kind human being. She is brilliant, has an unmatched work ethic, and is an incredibly caring person, especially for children. I have witnessed how the students she’s taught interact with her, and it’s clear that they look up to her as a role model. I can’t think of anyone better to raise children with.

Kirsten grew up playing tons of sports, dancing, playing violin, and even more. She has so much natural talent and can truly do almost anything she sets her mind to. We have talked often about all the activities we hope to do with our kids like put on plays at home, attend their sports games, and doing all the arts and crafts!

She has an unmatched wanderlust and I am so thankful to have experienced so many fun places while we have been together.

Kirsten is an amazing partner and wife. I can always rely on her, and know that she always supports me. I can’t wait to become a parent with her and start growing our family.

Jonathan

Written by Kirsten:
Jon is the biggest blessing in my life so far. He is the most patient and compassionate person I know, and he grounds me all the time. He’s incredibly smart, but more than that, he never gives up working through a problem. Much of Jon’s success in life has been through his determination to always do his best. If he is faces a problem in life, in work, or anywhere else, he will work harder and longer than anybody I know to ensure he’s completed whatever needs to be done in the most thorough way possible.

Jon’s also very outgoing, and gets along with everybody. He’s friendly, funny, and he always has such a warm personality. He loves doing adventurous things, and he’s very easy going. One of my favorite things about Jon is how true to himself he is.

My first experience seeing Jon with a child was with my Godson, Shane. Immediately, I knew he would be the father of our future children. He was patient, calm, silly, and most importantly, he was a role model. I can’t wait for the day I get to see Jon as a father.

Qualified for Adoption

Dear Expectant Mother,

We have been talking about writing you this letter for months, and it feels as though we will never be able to express our true gratitude to you. We think you are the bravest person in the world for making the decision to choose adoption. Your strength and selflessness will never be forgotten in our family, and we hope you know we will do everything in our power to make sure this child has the best life possible, if you choose us. We have dreamed of the day we would finally become parents, and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering giving us this opportunity. Your child will grow up learning about the courageous woman who sacrificed so much for them, and we will do our best to teach them everything we’ve learned from life too.

We have fun talking about some of the family activities we would do once we become parents. Since we are both travel lovers, we’ve talked about annual family vacations so our child can explore different places in the world. We talk about how to educate our future child from early ages, both academically and socially. We want our child to experience any and all sports, art classes, music groups, language classes, cooking clubs, or other activities, and we have already created savings accounts for those activities, trips, and college funds.

Mostly, we really want to thank you for your bravery and strength.
