Fun Ways to Celebrate the 4th of July!

The 4th is always such a fun holiday. Sparklers, fireworks, the outdoors. It’s family friendly in all the right ways. In preparation for the weekend, here are some fun, different ways to celebrate with your family!

These crafts (including an egg carton Uncle Sam!) are especially adorable for younger ones. They’re also a great way to educate your children about different historical facts associated with the holiday, what patriotism is, and why we celebrate this particular day. It’s always nice to get a little education in with the fun stuff ;).

As always, Pinterest pulls through with the craftiest, most beautiful activities of all. From snacks, treats, crafts, and wearable art projects, these ideas are primed to make the 4th of July more fun than ever.

Do you have little ones who maybe aren’t quite old enough for sparklers? Make these festive “sparklers” with them! Fire-free and so much fun.

These summer nighttime activities for kids really come alive during the 4th of July. Capture the moment with inspired evening portraits, teach them how to write their names in the air, get away from fire by blowing glow-in-the-dark bubbles! So many options for safely, and enjoyably, illuminating the night.

This sparkle tee is about as cute as it gets.

20 fireworks crafts! What kid doesn’t love fireworks? These ideas are sure to delight.

From patriotic poems to an extensive reading list, short stories, and scrambled puzzles, these activities cover both the educational and fun sides to the Fourth of July.

However you celebrate, we hope it’s a wonderful weekend. Take photos and send them our way…we’d love to feature them on our Photo Friday series on the blog!
