She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Admin/Accounting and minors in Early Education and Sociology. For the past 10 years, she's worked in the Public Accounting field. When Ava was born, she put her job aside and became a stay at home mom until Ava started pre-k at a local Montessori school. She currently works part time while Ava is in school. To Jaime, being a mom is one of life's great privileges. Every day she is thankful for Ava's birthmother and seeks to provide only the very best for Ava.

Dear Birthmother

It is difficult to imagine what you must be feeling and experiencing, but we are thankful that you have chosen to selflessly give the gift of family, which is perhaps the most generous act of love one person can give to another. We have been married for over 10 years and have always been open to adoption. Much of Tim's family is adopted and we have always dreamed of giving children a loving, nurturing home to grow in, just like his mother, older brother, and others had. In 2014, a selfless, brave woman chose us to parent her daughter. Ava joined our family and she is our greatest joy! While we have had difficulty conceiving, our decision to adopt has not been just an alternative route to building a family but instead one in which we truly have peace. Given the privilege to provide a devoted, supportive home and family for your child, and a sibling for Ava, would be a dream come true! Whether you choose us or not, we are moved by your courage, strength, and kindness to provide only the very best for your child. We pray that in whatever decisions you make, you have peace and strength without measure. Please know that we have a deep respect for you and your decision, and we thank you for choosing life and allowing your child an opportunity to love and be loved. We hope the pages that follow give you some insight into our lives and all that we can provide and share with your child. We are anxious to welcome a sibling for our daughter, Ava. With open arms and hearts, Tim, Jaime & Ava

Reason to Adopt

Infertility confirmed our desire to adopt. Much of Tim's family is adopted, including his mom and brother, aunts, and numerous cousins. Adoption gave us the ability to grow our family and provide a home and countless opportunities to our daughter. We are eternally grateful for our daughter's birth mom and that she chose us to parent. Our daughter is our greatest joy! We are excited to grow our family!

Our home

We live near Lake Lanier in a neighborhood with tennis and basketball courts, a pool and a playground. We love our private, fendced backyard that's complete with a playground and lots of room for outdoor play!

Our pets

We have two dogs, both boxers, that we love dearly! We added Jackson, to our family when he was a puppy 7 years ago. Shelby joined our family in July 2019 when she came to us a foster from a rescue. They are both sweethearts and love children!
