  • energetic, caring and funny.
I was born and raised in a small town and continue to strive to maintain those values. I believe it is important to be a good person, work hard to achieve your goals and to always make those you love a priority. I spend most of my free time with my family and friends. My siblings are my best friends and my mom is my biggest supporter. I consider myself a social person and love to be on the go. I am looking forward to becoming a mom so that I can love, provide structure and support to a child and help them become who God has planned for them to be.

Dear Birthmother

We would like to start by saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We understand this is a time full of stress with lots of different emotions for you. We are committed to helping you feel comfortable with our family. We are open books and would love for you to truly get to know us. We love life, enjoy adventure and love spending time with our families. We are also very involved in our church. Through our families and church family we feel we have a very strong support system to start growing our family. We look forward to providing unconditional love to a child who will have a supportive home based on structure and stability.

Reason to Adopt

Jeanna had a close friend in high school whose parents adopted from China. Hearing their adoption stories and being involved in their lives helped Jeanna to realized this is how she wanted to become a mom. When Jeanna and Andy met they talked very early on in their relationship about adoption. Adoption was also a route that Andy had always considered. After 4 years of marriage we felt like it was time to start saving for our adoption process. Because we do not have a story that involves infertility, it was very important to us to fund our adoption independently. So here we are 2 years later ready to meet a child. We are excited about adoption and feel it is an incredible way to build a family.

We have been married for 6 years and together for 9 years. We like to stay active and always have our next adventure planned. We enjoy fly fishing and traveling together. Most of our vacations involve outdoor activities- surfing in California, hiking in Sedona, AZ and snorkeling on our honeymoon in Hawaii. Long road trips are our favorite. It is an opportunity to put away the electronics and learn about each other again. It is important to us that our child has the opportunity to try news things, maybe be pushed out of their comfort zone a little bit and grow up to be a comfortable in who they are.

Home and family

Home is very important to us. It our safe place. Security, laugher and affection are an important part of our home. We love to host family get- togethers and have friends over for dinner. Our home has become the spot to celebrate birthdays and holidays. We live in a neighborhood full of children and feel as though our town is a great place to raise children. We also have a boxer, Shiloh, who we love taking on walks. She is very playful and great with children. Family is extremely important to us. We stay in close contact with our parents and siblings, most of which live within 30 minutes- 1 hours from us. Our families are excited, eager and supportive of our plan to adopt. We look forward to raising a child surrounded by lots of love!
